About the position:
Our Head of Capital Markets is responsible for developing and implementing a continuous strategy to finance our company operations and loans, an essential complex role for the operation of a startup.
Identify financing opportunities and shape Kueski’s global funding strategy
Lead and manage a growing team directing capital markets strategy and running financing transactions.
To broaden the funding supply across a variety of investor segments and types of financing structures
Managing all stages of the cycle, from initial contact to overseeing due diligence processes and closing investment agreements
Managing relationships with Kueski’s existing investors base.
Supervise and provide input on structuring, legal negotiation, and documentation with funding counterparties alongside counsel and capital markets deal leads
Build existing and potential investor relationships
Preparation of investor materials and representing Kueski at investor
Partner cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, Finance, and Data teams to drive strategy and optimize tactics as it relates to capital markets
Guiding the improvement of existing investor reporting and portfolio analysis.
Review, evaluate, maintain, and improve financial models used for capital markets and asset management.
Lead all Capital Markets activities, including corporate funding and liquidity activities of the company.
+7 years of relevant industry experience across investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers.
Established network of professional relationships within the institutional investor area, ideally on an international level.
Wide understanding of capital markets, funding strategies, securitization, and other ways to raise debt capital
BA/BS degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience.
Excellent communications (oral, writing, pitching) skills; negotiator.
Strong knowledge of structured debt financing, fixed income, and alternative investment products
Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements for different investor groups and consequences for tailoring product offering
Numerical and analytical; critical, forward and strategic thinking.
