The team is responsible for provisioning IT service support to global design community, interfacing with our vendors for feature requirements/enhancements, work closely with Design Enablement Organization in Eindhoven (Netherlands) and Austin (United States), scheduled report generation and active participant in global RnD IT projects. Provide 2nd Line support for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and licenses, Configuration Management tools, Load Sharing Facility, Virtual Desktop Interface and handling incidents, standard changes and service requests. Develop smart solutions for common issues, automation of standard work and reporting. Communicate and align with customers to ensure full comprehension of Changes. Lead and/or participate in changes and problems related to design infrastructure, to reduce the number of issues. Lead and/or participate in global development projects leading to new/other R&D IT services. Contribute to and update the Knowledge Base. Capacity- and availability management of licenses. Stay abreast of latest IT technology developments concerning R&D IT.
Bachelors in Electronics or Computer Science Engineering Experience Analytical and good problem solving skills Possess a positive and proactive (‘can do’) attitude Customer focused and service minded Report generation and customization Exposure to basic database tools Work independently while remaining a team player Willingness to listen and to adapt Good communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a global team
Hands-on experience on Linux Operating system (commands and utilities) Knowledge of scripting languages like Shell, Perl scripting ITIL V3 Certification Agile scrum experience Project management experience. Should have worked on global small projects Experience in supporting global designer community
